Academic Anand Kumar to offer online coaching to Delhi govt school students

Super 30 fame Anand Kumar is looking forward to help students of Delhi government schools through an upcoming initiative, reports Jagriti Kumari
Delhi education minister Manish Sisodia has announced that Super 30 fame Anand Kumar would conduct online classes for class XI, XII students studying in Delhi government schools to help them prepare for the IIT-JEE.
“I am happy to share that Anand Kumar has agreed to conduct one class every month for Delhi Govt school students. This will be an online, virtual classroom for Class 11, 12 students of our schools,” tweeted Sisodia.
Patna based mathematician Anand Kumar visited a Delhi government school with Manish Sisodia on July 24 during the ongoing ‘Happiness Utsav’.
“Dates of online, virtual classroom and strategies to implement this new endeavour are yet to be finalised,” says Anand Kumar while talking to Education Times.
Kumar is looking forward to help students of Delhi government schools through this upcoming initiative. “Similar proposal from other government will also be welcome,” adds Kumar.
“His work and personality are an inspiration for all teachers across the country, as children from humble backgrounds achieve their IIT-JEE dreams. This is what it truly means to be a guru,” tweeted Sisodia.
Anand Kumar has been running a coaching centre called Super 30 since 2002 in Patna to help underprivileged children to help them prepare for IIT-JEE. Till now, the coaching centre has managed to have a fabulous record.
With the rising popularity of the free coaching, students not only from Bihar but from neighbouring states of Jharkhand, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh have also started availing the benefit.
