ISB Hyderabad and IIM Calcutta have emerged among the top 3 in a Times Higher Education-Wall Street Journal ranking for their one year MBA programmes. They were the two Indian management institutes who made it to the top positions. ISB, Hyderabad won the second spot, while IIM Calcutta ranked the third position for the one-year MBA programmes. The ranking was based on performance across parameters such as resources, engagement, outcomes and environment. University of Hong Kong won the top spot for its one year MBA degree.
ISB Hyderabad outdid IIM Calcutta by a small margin. The overall score for ISB Hyderabad was 75.7, followed by IIM Calcutta in which the overall score was 75.5.
Dean, ISB Hyderabad, Rajendra Srivastava, attributed the institute’s ranking to the efforts and achievements of its faculty, student and alumni.
