Applications are open to the Frankfurt Book Fair fellowship programme for applicants from countries including India. The programme is meant to be an information and networking platform in the international publishing world. It is designed to focus on information exchange, professional dialogue and the creation of networks between young international publishers. Fellows are given networking opportunities in Frankfurt and two other German cities.
Eligibility: To apply, one should have several years' experience in publishing and good knowledge of the English language. Basic knowledge of the German language is recommended. Along with the application form, candidates need to furnish three letters of recommendation from international business partners and a letter of recommendation from their employer.
Form: The application form is available at www.book-fair.com/en/. Applicants from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are required to send their applications to the German Boook Office New Delhi.
