An 11-month postgraduate programme offering hands-on training to develop necessary set of skills required for a career in the fastest growing and intellectually stimulating fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning and Cognitive Computing, has been launched by Aegis School of Business, Mumbai, in association with IBM, Nvidia, an American technology company, and Amazon Web Services. These companies will provide software and experts to guide the students.
The course has been designed to meet the growing demand for ML and Deep Learning and to understand the application of these complex technologies in cancer treatment; natural language processing, speech recognition etc.
Bhupesh Daheria, CEO, Aegis School of Business, says, “The course will include live industry projects and we plan to set up a Career Management Centre to assist in internship and placement opportunities.”
He added, “The training during this programme will cover the fundamental tenets of Deep Learning such as using Artificial Intelligence for object detection, robotics, self-driving cars, image classification and chatbots.”
The course will be taught on campus as a full-time postgraduate programme while classes for weekend Executive Postgraduate Programme for working professionals (Saturday and Sunday) will be conducted on the campus as well as online.
The students can apply online till August 15, 2018. Total 30 students each will be enrolled in full-time and executive programmes, which will begin from October 29, 2018.
