The Government of Canada has introduced the Student Direct Stream (SDS), a new online application process for Indian students looking for a Canadian study permit.
SDS will provide assistance in maintaining the document checklist and will secure the communications between the applicant and the university through the online website, www.canada.ca/international-students.
Applicants registering through SDS must be first accepted at any Canadian learning institution that is designated to host international students.
The candidates will have to submit the payment receipt of their first-year tuition fees of any designated learning institution in Canada along with the medical certificate. A qualifying score of at least 6 for English (IELTS), or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens score of 7 for French (TEF), or graduation from a Canadian-curriculum high school is required to enrol through SDS application process.
