ISRO Telemetry, Tracking & Command Network (ISTRAC) has invited online applications for the post of Technical Assistant and Technician-B at Lucknow and Portblair. There are a total of four vacancies such as electronics-mechanic for underserved category (UR), fitter for Scheduled Tribe (ST), electrical, and electronics for Other Backward Class (OBC). The application process has begun on July 29, 2019.
Here are the steps to apply for Technical Assistant and Technician-B post:
Step 1: Visit the official website of ISRO at https://careers.istrac.gov.in/Recruitment/advt.jsp
Step 2: Enter the e-mail address on the online application
Step 3: Applicants will be provided with an online registration number which is to be preserved for future reference
Step 4: Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 250 to complete the registration process
Step 5: Take the print out of the application form
Candidates of age group 18-35 years can apply for the post. People such as servants, ex-servicemen; Persons with Disabilities (PWD); widows; divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried, meritorious sportsperson are eligible for age relaxation as per extant Govt. of India orders.
A written test will be conducted only for the screened-in-candidates, where both theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate will be tested. Based on the scores of written test required number of candidates shall be called for the skill test.
